The final chapter on Lincoln began in Goshen, Indiana on June 20, 1912, when an automobile frightened his horse. Lincoln was thrown from his buggy sustaining a broken leg and internal injuries. He succumbed from a heart condition on 12 July 1912. His funeral was said to be the
largest ever held in Syracuse for many years. There were over a 1000 people at the United Brethren Church, only 200 could be seated inside. Paulina Celestine "Sella" Cory and Harvey Vaneman Lincoln Cory had the following children:
