5434. Joseph Albin Cory was born on 11 Nov 1891 in Fargo, Cass Co, ND.¹⁸⁹ He was baptized on 21 Jul 1893 in Herby Congregation Evang. Luth. Church. He died on 13 Jul 1976 in Portland, Multnomah Co, OR. He was buried in Lincoln Memorial Park, Portland, Multnomah Co, OR. He livied in the Midwest unti his retirement in 1956, when he moved to Oregon. He was in the transportation business, first with a wagon and team and later with a truck.

He was an early organizer of the Teamsters Unnion in the Midwest and helped establish a retirement fund for the union. He drew the first check from the pension fund.

Joseph Albin Cory and Ruth Geneva Jenne were married about 1912. Ruth Geneva Jenne (daughter of Chillis W. Jenne and Dorcus A Hoyt) was born on 13 Jul 1889 in Foxhome, Wilkin Co, Minnesota. She died in 1972 in Portland, Multnomah Co, OR. She was buried in Lincoln Memorial Park, Portland, Multnomah Co, OR. Joseph Albin Cory and Ruth Geneva Jenne had the following children:
