Joseph taught at various schools, at the same time writing for
newspapers. He published the Early Iowa Enterprise until 1887, when he
moved his plant to Storm Lake. Later he published the Early News until
he moved to the state of Washington in 1905. Joseph Haverfield Cory and Martha
J Bancroft were married on 27 Mar 1878 in Sac City, Sac Co, IA. Martha J Bancroft1
was born in Dec 1856 in Louisville, St Lawrence Co, NY. She died
in 1920 in Sac Co, IA. Joseph Haverfield Cory and Martha J Bancroft
